Question: Why do you like coming to KIND?

Malcom  (15 years): “I like the KIND Center. I feel safe here. I am not in danger like at a regular school. No one will run and stab you here. I love the computers and the art classes. The principal is honest and real cool. She speaks her mind and tells the truth”.    Ricardo  (14 years): “I like how work is done here. I learn faster. The tutors are more caring, they take their time. I love the computers most of all. I love the tennis board and the play room”.

Kester  (15 years): “The Classrooms are not hot. I love the air conditioning. In my last school a teacher ran me down with a bat to hit me. This would never happen here at KIND. The teachers are really KIND. I like that we get punished properly - no licks. You have a counselor and a social worker to talk to”.    Brandon  (14 years): “We do school work in the morning only. I really like that in the afternoons we read, do computers and art. The teachers spend time teaching you right from wrong. This is positive and good. This school is real nice. Everything about it is real nice”.

Tamika (13 years): “I love the breakfast. This school is very different from my last school. The teachers do not shout and they really take their time to teach properly
