Ms. Henderson and her husband are parents of two young children who KIND has assisted since October 2009.

Ms. Henderson is her family's primary provider as her husband was seriously injured in a workplace accident and is unable to engage in strenuous activity.

KIND helps the Henderson family by providing transportation assistance, monthly food hampers, schoolbooks and school uniforms.

With the Habitat for Humanity's help, the family will soon be able to move into their own home.

The children's teachers indicate that Mr. and Mrs Henderson are very supportive and that both children excel academically. With KIND's help and guidance, the family continues to make significant strides towards self sufficiency.
