This programme enables a disadvantaged child to attend school on a regular basis. These kids have basic similarities - mast of the kids are victims of abuse, abandonment and/or poverty and reside in the poorer areas of Trinidad e.g. Freeport, Cunupia Laventille, Morvant, Toco and Mayaro. The stories are truly heart wrenching, and we need your help to turn the stories of depression into stories of hope.

These kids do not need fifteen minutes of fame, they need continuous support to ensure that our efforts have meaningful results- We need individuals and/or organisations who are willing to be involved as partners on an ongoing basis.

We do have criteria by which we assess applicants. When a family is fortunate enough to be approved by a screening committee, there are stipulated guidelines that need to be followed, whereby the approved cases are given the opportunity to stay in our programme for a period of two (2) years- We give our unreserved assurance that contributions are prudently utilised and accounted for by our auditors Price Waterhouse Coopers Limited.

K.I.ND. can be the perfect avenue through which you can make a meaningful contribution to the welfare of our nation's children. We have seen excellent results and feel confident that this programme is one that you or your company would like to be affiliated with. Members are also invited to participate in our service activities (field trips, the painting of homes, volunteering at the KIND Centre etc.) as this provides an opportunity for a direct contribution that can be personally rewarding.
